Meh

Nothing much to say - Uni's back again, and that's all good.

Worked this weekend. Um - that's about it! Hung out w/ the Hobbits for a bit. Too bad though, our group's getting to big to be classified as 'The Hobbits' any more...

Stuff is stuff, and life goes on.

Check u l8r,

Sunday, July 16

It's just another day... For whom?

It's a day like any other day.
Except for one thing.

Uni starts back tomorrow!
*dun-dunna-dun-dunna-DUN-DUNNN*

Meh. I'm over it. I've decided to post the first chapter of a novel *Edit - I've changed it to a teaser - apparently publishers get kinda finiky about putting up your stories on the interent before publishing. And as we definately want to publish the Illusionist, it's better to be safe rather than sorry!* I'm co-authering with my sister. The novel is called "The Illusionist" for now, and we're hoping to publish when we finish it. But for now, here's chapter one. WARNING! It's pretty big!

THE ILLUSIONIST

Chapter One
Break-ins, blood, and bounty hunters

The year is far into the future. Earth has long been destroyed by a ravaged ecosystem - now humanity has found footholds all over the universe, but the majority call Mars home.

Planet : OceaN°arria
Class : Water planet
Galaxy : Rëka, sector Tn
Life forms : Mostly Humans and Illasas

Cľis'q ignored the jangled sounds of the city as he concentrated on the security panel, smiling as he pulled the glass away from the glowing keypad. "You sure you got rid of the main floor alarm?" His partner, Wilk, scowled. "It may be a museum, but I've got worse security in my house. Trust me, it's gone - for this sector anyway."

Cľis'q slipped a micro scrambler onto the pad. The nanobots entered the system, transmitting control to Cľis'q's wrist band. With the touch of a finger, Cľis'q commanded the thick glass in front of the robbers to slide back. Nodding to Wilk, he gave the signal for him to active their heat sensing contact lenses, and scanned the room for any signs of life. Satisfied they where alone, Cľis'q's grin grew as he caught sight of dozens of priceless artifacts, gleaming in their glass cages - just whispering a silent challenge to the thieves. "Com'mon. Let's get to work."

If the pair had once looked up, the sight of a dark figure, its white blonde hair rippling in the soft night breeze – watching them, studying their moves through a skylight would have been more then enough to alarm them. As it were, neither took their eyes off their prizes, and the figure stole away, unnoticed, to another skylight on a different section of the roof. Amateurs. They're in the planet's largest museum and they waste their time on those? A smirk curled over her lips as Tori slipped through the hole she had neatly made in the skylight.

Landing gently on a solid oak rafter that ran through the infrastructure, she ran directly under the glass frame, silhouetted briefly against a clear, starless, purple night sky. Crouching panther-like, she slid down the length of the beam, flickering in and out of the deep shadows. Pausing at the end, she leapt down onto the floor, running through the lasers with her knees lifted high.

To any observer it would look like she was sprinting through a yard of tyres - but she knew one mis-step, and the alarm system would go off. Glancing at the floor in the next room, she eyed her target. The lasers were invisible to the naked eye, but to Tori they were dark green beams, flickering across the marbled floor. The doorway she needed to get through was three feet deep, and criss-crossed with more trip lasers. Guess they're trying to keep someone out. There's the hard way... Tori briefly considered the amount of flips and handsprings - not to mention layouts that it would take to get through the maze. Or not. Not enough time.

One bounce, and Tori coiled up like a spring and leapt headfirst through the tangle of invisible lights. Catapulting forward, she landed, rolled up into a handstand and stopped just before the next trap. Gracefully splitting onto her feet, she glanced back through the doorway, a self-satisfied smile curling at the corner of her mouth. That, gentleman, is a real entry.

The two burglars continued on with their petty workings, completely unaware that next door another thief was on her way to get the most prized item in the museum - a mask from the century 3098 B.M. (Before Mars) made completely out of diamonds, titled 'Masque de glace', or 'Mask of Ice.' Tori's hawk eyed gaze slid over the room, noting every tiny detail. There were seven glass cases in the room, the largest one that held the mask was standing directly in the center. The other six cases stood around it, each randomly placed.

As luck would have it, one was just a few feet away from the visitors chairs on the left wall. She lifted her green eyed stare to the ceiling. The long rafters started out from six separate points in the room, then gracefully arced to meet each other in the middle. Although they could not take her to her prize - they, combined with the glass cases, would get her where she wanted to be. There was always a way. Arms raised high, Tori stretched onto her tip-toes, then whipped through the air - a tiny ball of speed, unfurling to land on the targeted chair with ease.

Pausing for the barest of seconds, she reached forward, and delicately placed her hands on a glass case, as she perched dangerously above a laser. Effortlessly she kicked up into a handstand, balancing on the glass case that protected a monumental diamond. Her black clothed legs stretched upwards, then grasped hold of the wooden beam that ran above her, locking as she held all of her weight, she lifted up her hands. Reaching backwards, she clung onto beam, unhooked her legs, and swung forward so she dangled from the beam above a laser-ridden floor.

Swinging smoothly, hand by hand, she moved up the beam until she was over the next case. Dropping down, she landed on the glass silently. One second later, and she had flipped over onto her primary target. Just a few more seconds. If those bumbling idiots can control themselves - and not do anything stupid for that long... Just as the thought flashed through her mind, a low wail of an alarm pierced the silence, rising in volume as bright spotlights around the room began to flash red.

Gritting her teeth in anger, Tori leapt off the case and onto the ground, her left fist coming around to slam into the glass, shattering it completely. Ignoring the blood dripping onto the pink crystal floor from the cuts in her hand, she yanked out the mask, and slipped it into a concealed pocket in her black, sleeveless leather vest.

Over the blaring sound of the alarm, she picked up the wailing sirens of the police. Time to leave. She ran out of the room, almost colliding with two figures that where frozen outside the door, blinded with panic. The two thieves stared at her in shock as she threw them out of her way and continued her run, heading towards a large glass cabinet, just underneath a window.

Vaulting onto the cabinet, she catapulted through the window of the building, landing lightly on the glass coated stones. The instant she landed, she was off again, heading towards the shadows of a large tree. Six law enforcers, drawn to the sound of the breaking window like moths to a light, ran around the corner just in time to see a figure dressed in black come speeding towards them on a black and red V-rider.

Similar to the old fashioned motorcycles, the V-rider was a relatively new machine that took skill to master. Tori knew it could hit speeds of four hundred kilometers per hour, and over - that's what she was counting on. That and the fact that her new bike was more than one hundred kilometers faster then any hover unit, and that it relied on a new technology that used velocity force - making it not only a very expensive piece of equipment, but a very dangerous one as well. Everything she could want in a machine.

Speeding up, Tori accelerated into a corner, turning so sharply that an inch to the wrong side would have sent her flying. Although she could hear the sounds of a pursuit behind, she knew it wouldn't be a problem. It never was.

Shopping! I luff shopping! There was a sale on todayyyy *sings loudly* but enough about clothes.

I'm actually starting to look forward to the beginning of the semester. One can really only have so much of holidays... *GAH* What am I saying??? I must've been outta my mind when I wrote that. Anyways, one more week, and it's back to work. Then it'll be the end of second semester, then Christmas... Then hello 2007... ^^' Life can be so scary sometimes.
As long as you have Jesus, friends and family by your side - it'll be all good though!

Man, oh man, there's 'most nothing better than shopping to raise your spirits though! >_< !

> T out! ^_^

Home again....

Home agian, home again, jiggity-jig!

Still gotta cold - I think I'm gonna get worse... XP. At least I've got one more week of holidays before I go back to uni.

BoB got to Jindabyne and back again safely, which is totally cool.

I found out I can sculpt as well! I'll be putting up some pictures on Deviant ART under the account of Tinka-Bell.

Can't think of anything else to report -

Adios.

T.

Thursday, July 6

I'm a temporary snowman!

I'm a temporary snowman as I most willingly exist in Jindabyne for the past week - until tomorrow. Just call me Jacki Frost! ^_^!

I have suddenly had a huge flash of remorse for not updating this blog in like the last five billion years! I don't have any reasons - no excuses whatsoever, but I have been pretty busy. Boy, was last semester ever so stressful! But I got through - which is great, so it's onto new things now. I passed all my subjects, so that's good.

I and all my sisters also got baptised together last Sunday. As baptisim is a declartion of our belief in Christ to save us, it was awesome to stand up together and say - yes! We believe!

BoB's been going well to - so life is pretty nice right now.

So I'll check ya all later!

T. ^^!

Wednesday, June 14

*sigh* More trials in the saga of BoB, he's STILL not on the road... -.-'

And life goes on. Exams. Crazy stuff. Not keeping up with this blog at all. so yeah.

Bye. Boni.

Tuesday, May 23

Boo_yeh!

w00t! I've only a three minute presentation and two exams to go and this semester's over!!!!!!! yay!

I did my last major peice of assessment yesterday. It actually worked out ok after all my stressing. I set my alarm for Monday morning - I got up at 5:30 am, got to the uni computer lab at 6:45am, sat my butt down and didn't move for the next nine hours until 3:00pm that afternoon. Hey, drastic mesures - I know, but I wrote the 2,000 word report I needed and it's over! ^-^!

So I am happily looking forward to a week at the snow in the holidays, and the end of the most stressful semester I have ever had. I predicted at the beginning that it would take a lot of work - I just didn't realize that it also include a TON of stress. *shruggs* But it's over now, thank goodness.

My family and I are heading up to Sydney this weekend for my cousin's 21st birthday party - it'll be awesome. Plus, we'll be going to the markets as well - Shopping - here I come!

BoB isn't on the road yet - I still have to pick up a headlight for him so I can get him registered, then I will FINALLY be able to drive him! And then I'll be able to go back to gymnastics, and all sort of awesome stuff that will come with having more money from less petrol consumption. Swweeettt.

'neways, check ya'll l8r,

B.

Monday, May 15

It's incredible - I can't believe how long it's been since I've been on my blog!

Anyway, updates in the crazy (yeah - 'coz I'm just that psyco...) life of me!

Um. The new stuff - stress!!!!!!! The old stuff? STRESSS!!!!!!! I've been sooo stressed out with Uni lately - it's really run me to the ground. I haven't been doing much except - you guessed it - stressing!
... ... well, not really. I've been doing lots of work and assignments. And I have an in class exam today (T_T Yikes!), one more report (2,000 words) a small 3 minute peresentation - three weeks "off" and two exams to finish the first semester of 2006! Hopefully, the second semester will be better. It can only get better... Right? >.>

BoB is almost back in action - I'm getting him inspected this weekend to fix up my rego, and then I'll be back on the road again! ^-^! I'm planning to go to Jindibyne this Uni hols for a week - yay! Snow! - which will be good. And I think that's all that's up.. O - have a party this Sat. - I'll be wearing my new L.B.D. (for those who are unfamiliar with the term it's - Little Black Dress) and the party is gonna rock! = D!

Me bestie's down for a few days, so that awesome too.

And funny how it takes a while, but even in the bad times, I can really see the Lord giving me a hand. Too bad I'm too stupid to take it sometimes! lol. It's when you're all alone that you find out that maybe He is not so far away after all - if only you'd stop to see that.

But anyway, gotta go - gotta do my exam (AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!)

Chow! B.

work

Mid-semster break. Sounds like a holiday, huh??

Ste-rike ONE!

Have I been relaxing???

Ste-rike TWO!!!!

Has it been a time to rest and catch up on lost sleep?????

Ste-rike THREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The one thing about Mid-semester break is that it isn't a break at all (as all you Uni students out there would know, and cry out with me about!! ), but a cruel ruse to get our hopes up for sleep-ins and late nights, (yes, more sleep-in than 9:00 am, and more late nights than 12:00 pm, but still...) and parties. Then we check our unit outlines and realize that a TON of really important assignments are due the first week back from this so-call "break", (known as the dreaded WEEK TEN) or the week directly after. So as you can guess, I'm at work, or at home doing tons of uni stuff... Not exactly my idea of a break. Though I don't have to drive for 3/4s of an hour to get to uni, so maybe...

No! It is other ploy by "the man" to keep us "disaffected youth" in the gutter. I won't stand for it! Stupid elitetist ideology! (lol. As you can proably tell, Uni is rubbing off on me!)

Meh. -.-. I am sudden really over it... *shrugs* Owell. Is life good out there in the real world? I hope it is, for while my insane little bolt-hole of a universe is getting dropped on it's head once in a while, I usually manage to keep it floating right side up. Usually.

Gonna take a road trip next week to Bateman's to pick up BoB - I'll be so glad to get him back. Petrol consumption will go down, and with it, the money I spend on it! (thankgoodness)

'Neways, Saynara (I know that is spelt wrong... Meh. You know what I mean...),

B. ^-^!

Wednesday, April 5

Okay-day..

Okay-day - everything's fine I say... No, really! It is!

Uni's going alright. Got an assignment back (first of the semester) with a higher mark than I expected -yay! = D-and have done an in class test I was rather dreading. I do have two nasty assignments due in the same week, but that's in a month's time, and as long as I do as I should they will be fine too! So yeah!

BoB is fixed now - at much more than I expected, but apparently he's worth it so... I'll be going to the coast some time to pick him up then I guess - well, know.

Life is rolling along as it usually does - too quickly sometimes, and others far too slowly (like when you're waiting for something!)...

Muphm. Can't think of anything else to say really... So yeah.

Have a good one peoples -

Bonita

Monday, March 27

Well.

Well. I'm sure I've said it before, and I KNOW I'll say it again - but - doesn't time fly?!?!!!??!!!!?!!!!???!!!! I can hardly believe that it's the sixth week of the sememster already - next thing you know it's gonna be exams again... X P! It really is incrediable.

But anyway... And this breaking news on how life's going... (You can tell I'm really getting into all this Journo stuff, eh?!)

Capt. BoB J. Biggles is headed to the mechanic

Yes - really truely! ... And to recap the story we broke to you last month about the untimely demise of Capt. BoB J. Biggles, a Ford KA Laser busted in the line of duty. New information from the parents of the bereaved suggests that the damaged car may not be headed for the wreakers. The bereaved, a Miss B. J. F. stated "I am absolutely over the moon about this - I'm so glad, and I'm very thankful to the Lord for working this out. He is amazingly good to me." The new proceedure will see BoB's hood up, and the possiblity of a replaced head gasket, and the pistons emptied of water, or a replaced engine. Either way, it is quite possible that the Captain will be back on his wheels very soon.

and, as the "Human Interest Piece"

New relations forged in two areas

Meh. I'm over it... But anyway, it's been really cool 'coz I've been making friends with some chicks at Uni, and a girl at work. Good times! ^-^!

That's all from me for now,

Have a good one!

B. J. F.

coolness

Life's pretty sweet right now - Uni is not being too much of a pain, and even though I'm really tired, and just getting over a cold, it's all good. There have been heaps of nice things going on.

My boss at work just sent me a e-mail to tell me that I've been working really well, I've meet some new people at Uni, and there's this one chick who's really awesome - she's so friendly and nice. And so much other good stuff!

My art is going ok - I've put up a new peice at deviantART and I will put it in my PhotoBucket album soon too. I'm trying out new stuff, but I am getting really frustrated that the style is taken so long for me to get a grip on. It's slowly changing - but not enough... Hm. Gotta keep at it I suppose.

On a side ramble - I've been hearing this stuff at Uni 'bout Deep File Something or so, but the thing is they want to use this new Deep technoogy to make money off the Internet. I'm having issues with this 'coz in order to make money they're going to be restricting sites and stuff by regulating what gets through quickly and what doesn't. The idea is that the servers scan the 'packets' of information that goes out/on the web and if the packet is sent by a site that pays lots of money to the server, that packet will go through really quickly. But all the site that don't pay out to the telco companies, or whomever, their packets will take forever to upload/download. So basically, you're not going to be able to veiw sites that don't pay without a lot of hassles. Which means more advertising or whatever, and less choice about the information you get.

For some people, I guess it's not so much of an issue. What annoys me though is that it's just companies wanting more money, and they're going to get it at the expense of everyone else who uses the net. Pfffft!!!!!!!

But enough ranting from me -

Have a good one,

Boni. ^-^

cONtraSts OF BLaCk & whITe

If you are wondering what the heck my title is all about, dear reader, don't worry I am well on the path to enlighting your sacred minds.

In my last entry I was occupied with the annoying-ness of everything going evil - (I blame Uni... X_X) but, in a black & white contrast I wish to tell of the wonderful weekend I had with my family, relatives, and best friend celebrating my dear sister's 18th - whom I previously listed in before mentioned post.

We went to Lunar Park!!!

And really, it was lots and lots and lots of fun!!!

I had, and so did my sister, a really great night.

My absolute favourite ride of the night was the enormous slippery-slide in 'The Fun House', as I believe it is titled, and - ooowhee! I went on said ride, like, fifty million times! Okay, so maybe it was five, but it was a good five! The slide in question is about a couple of meters high, and drops straight down for about half a meter, than slowly levels out. And the lower you bend over your knees - the faster you go! It was great!

My second favourites (equally) were 'Mouse Trap', the rollercoaster, and the dodgem cars (to be rather predictable). Both were heaps of fun, though I swear I got whiplash from the rollercoaster! Good times, with good friends. It was great to be together with my whole family too.

What with Uni, work, social commitments, and everything else, I hardly ever get to spend time with my whole family at once any more. I was joking with my Mum, (though I'm half serious!) that we're going to have to make coffee dates to catch up - 'coz we just don't see each other!

Mind you, I'm not complaining, I love being busy. I just wish I had more time for everything! But than again, doesn't everybody?

Well, that's all from me -

For now anyway!

Boni. ^-^!

Day from the underside of a worm's bottom

Yup - it really was that bad. Henceforth, all sucky, really, nasty, awful, bad days are known as Days-from-the-underside-of-a-worm's-bottom. Gahhhh!!!!!!!! Stupidness!

And things was it started off reasonably well. Sure, I was tired when I got up - I could've slept another four hours, but my lecture wasn't boring, I met an old friend and had a brief, but good chat with her and we're gonna catch up sometime. It's good stuff.

But then I had to shop for a birthday present on a time limit - NEVER AGAIN - it is way tooo hard. And to add to that, my pay didn't come through, and I needed to charge it... And then, after my feet where suitably blistered up, it was time to go as I was late for my tutorial back on my campus, which was a twenty minute drive away. Not a problem - Ha!!

I realised I didn't have any change what-so-ever to pay for my parking ticket. So trudging around the shops for another half an hour/three quarters of an hour desperately trying to find a shop that could give me cash out without having to spend over ten bucks to get the cash and oh. I just couldn't do it. So it was another ten minute walk to my Mum's office to scab money off her.

I felt so guilty when I showed up - she was so pleased, and I had only come to get money off her... T.T Whaaa! I was all - this is sooo bad. I mean, I had planned to visit her before I ran out of time... And then money, and yeah.

But anyway, she was soo nice about it - (Love ya lots an lots Mum, you're the greatest Mum/friend a girl could have! ^^) So another ten minutes to walk back (owie, my achin' feet) and I was finally free!

Tell you what, my sister better fully appreciate her present - what a trial to get it! I feel like a modern day knight or something - braving the perils of the mall!

Which reminds me - Happy Birthday to my bestest friend besides God - my dear sister Emi!

Gotta go - tinka

*Jaw drops* AHHHHHHH!!!!! O.O

I HAVE TO SCREAM THIS OUT LOUD BECAUSE IT IS THE CRAZIEST THING EVER!!!!!!!!!!

*takes deep breath*

I have fallen in love for the first time...

With a computer program..................................... -_-;

Let me explain - for the artists out there that are limited by a tight budget (like me! >= P) - I might just have the right drop for you!

THE GIMP It's a free, (*gasp*) downloadable program that you can use instead of Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator. I don't know if it's as good as a Adobe, but according to my IT friend it is. And he should know. But anyway, that's besides the point...

Because the real point here is that there is a FREE program that you can download to help with your Graphic Art if you can't afford the real deal.

And that's why I'm in love!!!!!!!!!!!! I HEART THE GIMP! :

Google THE GIMP - and voila!!! You're on your way to better art already!

*happy sigh*

Really, truely, the Gimp is the best thing I have discovered (art-wise) so far. I literally was having a coniption* yesterday while I was testing it out. It was - gah - just can't discribe it...

And yeah. So I am insanely happy (isn't it the only way to be?) at the moment.

Lol.

See ya! Tinkabell ^^

*Coniption. verb (con-nip-shon)

1. Bouncing madly around while making little squee's of
excitement
2. Having a heart attack while stressing FAR to much about
something

noun

1. Wildly, insanely, literally off-your-rocker with excitement
2. Stressed out beyond stupidity

P.S. - Yes, the word coniption was made up between The Fluffy Kitties - my
sisters and I. ^^ (C) 2006.

Thursday, February 23

Well.

Life is stuff, stuff is life. My deep, one second thought for the day. ^^; So anyways...

How long does it take to get to being a good artist? Like, I checked out heise's (from DeviantART) work today and tripped out... Ahhh! Too much good art work/artists out there! Sometimes I find it really hard to understand why I even bother, but the compelling whisper that floats through my mind (commenly known as inspiration) won't let me give up. Stupidness. Even when things don't go the way I want them too. : /

*Lol* It's all good. Wonder why I even bother writing about it. Not like anything's ever going to change!!!

So, anyways, I'm doing a third year subject in my second year at Uni - this is going to be fun! >.<>

Hmm - and don't you just love running into ex's? Good times...

As you can proably tell, I'm out to waste time until my tutorial for the subject I'm dropping starts, so I really have nothing to say.

All though, sometimes nothing can be far more interesting than something - depending on the topic!! Anyhoo, gotta go. Forgot to buy a textbook I need.

TTFn, Tika.

UPDATE

Better update I guess.

Back at Uni - lots of work this semester - four units, and yeah. Lots of work at my job as well, 'coz I am flat strapped, and need a LOT of money to pay my debts!!! And Bob (my car) blew a head, so now he's offically dead unless I come up with the dough to fix him. -.-'

Life can really chuck you some corkers - some good news is that my ankles are getting better, so I can work again! (Finally!!!)

O yeah - an' how weird is it when you run into really old ex-s? I bumped into my first at my Uni bookshop, and we chatted, but it was weird. Not the whole -ahh-my-ex-gotta-be-polite sort of weird - but another kind... Hmmm. Dunno, but anyways.

That's it from me for now - have a good one!

Tika.

The Best

You know how everyone always says that your teen/twenty years are the best of your life? Well, even though I'm not sure if I agree with that theory, I can see how people would say it.

I'm just lovin how at this point in my life everything just is. Nothing is really planned, or chosen, but things come up and out, stuff happens, a word is spoken - then Oooweee! We're all off on another adventure.

Not often is the adventure very big, but it's got this feeling to it - like the randomness, or maybe it's just a little bit of the way things are supposed to be, draws us all together, and wraps us up in a common glow of friendship and fun.

I can't explain it properly, but whatever it is - it does seems to be the best thing ever. I know why people believe that these adventures of youth are the best. It's just like that Nikelback song "Photograph" - the adventures have the same feeling as that song.

But then there's always another adventure waiting around the corner. It may not feel the same as the ones before, but it'll be different and good in it's own way. I reckon life can be an adventure all the way through - if you just let it be. It's all your own choice, so while I'm gonna enjoy all that is happening now - I'm not going to mourn when it changes. Life is too full to keep looking back.

Hmm. Quite the philosopher's muse eh? Funny how things like that just randomly break into my brain! lol. Ohweell, I have been enjoying my holidays much more than ever before. So I guess that's some kind of excuse... >.>'

And besides, all too soon my Blog will be filled with "aaahs" and "got an assignment - gotta go" and every other thing that comes with being a Uni student.

Even so, can't stop lovin' God and lovin' life, it's sooo good. Speaking of ssooo good - I'm dying to get back to gymnastics, I've been missing it something cronic (stupid ankles.. >.<), I'm proably sooo out of shape. O- almost forgot - gotta ring bout getting that beach house... whhee! Love the beach!

mm.. Neyways, proably should finish this extra-ordinary-rily long post, and put you all out of your misery! X D!

ttfn, tinka.

yawn - ^0^

Sleepiness... Luv the late nights - can't stand early mornings, and not being able to keep my eyes open. That suxz. Hardcore.

Went to the National Gallery yesterday arvo. - it was heaps cool. I loved checking out some of the insane stuff they had there. Most of it didn't cut it for me - but some of the stuff... Dude. It was so cool.
Had to hop around on my crutches though which wasn't cool...

Speaking of which, it looks like I might getting off them this weekend - yes!

Btw, how sad is it - only one more month of holidays and summer... WHAAA! =''( Must do lottsssss of beach trips - can't stand winter. Well, actually I can...

But has anyone else noticed how people hook up so much in the colder months? A guy I worked with before had this theory that it's more fun/comfortable to snuggle up with your bf/gf in winter - which is why all these couple start popping up everywhere! Mind you, I think it's much better just to curl up with a book, a mug of hot chocolate, and a nice fire. Mmm. Much better!

Must say though, I'm so hoping I'll be able to make it to the snow this winter at least once. I'm so hanging out for boarding. Mind you - I can't actually snowboard, but I can iceskate, and rollerblade and I have done a teeeny, wincy bit of skateborading, so I hope all the above will help get the hang of it. *fingers crossed* 'Coz I'm not sure that I have much of a chance. Lol. ohwell.

Mph - in the mean time it's still 30+ outside, so let's not get depressed about the cold too soon!

^-^, check y'all l8r - can't think of much else to write.

bye! B.

Owie!

*whimpers* I went and did it again.... "-and the award for biggest chump of 2006 goes to.... Me!!!" I've only just started to get over my severly sprained left ankle when I had to - yep, you've proably guess it - go twist my right ankle! WHAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ='''(

I was climbing up a hill/mountain? in the bush - me and one of the Hobbits (we'll call him Pippin) were going up to Booromba(?) Rocks and having a grand ol' sweaty time when I had to step on a rock that wasn't a rock (ie - the grass made it look like a rock was underneath, but it wasn't and..) - vol`a! I have a really sore ankle, am stuck at home, can't go out with the Hobbits any more, and can't work either, so I'm dead broke, bored(well, 'cept for the computer....), and *sigh* that's the way the cookie crumbles. Mind you, my ankle wouldn't have been as bad as it is if I had of been smart and asked to head back when I twisted it. As it was, I had to trek 7 kilometers on it - it didn't start hurting until we'd already reached the top of the hill/mountain.

Tell you what, getting back - now that was a challenge.... I had to dig my nails into the palm of my hands so that I could stand the pain in my ankle. The only way I got down was with more pain, walking really fast, and ignoring the achiness. That's the problem about stubborn, independant types- can't sook or whinge about any thing.... >.>....

Hmmm - besides my eventful day, I can't think of much else - o, went to the Australia Day Eve Concert on the lawn of Paraliment - got to see(? too many people to actually see them)/hear the Rogue Traders and The Modern Day Poets, and some others, but I enjoyed the company (The Hobbits + one) more than the bands - tho the latter bands were HEAPS good - loved dancing to the music!

'Neways, that is it from me for now...

Wednesday, January 25

Once upon a time...

There were six Hobbits. These Hobbits didn't know each other just three weeks ago - they each were living their seperate lives. Than BAM! A big cog slipped and the order of things changed. Now these Hobbits are living their lives together!!!

My sister and I have been having a ball over the last two weeks or so, we've found a group of friends that we can hang out with - and are hanging out with constantly. It's reeallly cool. Dunno if it'll last, but for the moment, we're having heaps of fun, so I've determined just to enjoy it for what it is - Awesome!!!! ^ ^!

Beach trips - (which BTW, was really awesome.), swimming, movies, dancing (yes! Ballroom dancing! I learnt the Cha-Cha basic, the Waltz basic, and Salsa basic, and some extra steps as well! >.), cheese&crackers, pizza, and cookiesncream icecream, and a new game - "If you were". It goes like this - you ask the group - if you were a -insert object/thing- what would you be? Like: If you were a peice of furniture/superhero/fruit/color/car what would you be? So the game just goes on and on and on, and it never ends!!! Tis very cool.

So that's 'bout it from me for now.

Adios amigos,

Tinka

P.S. - Our bedroom is finally done - and that was also the reason why I haven't been on the Net for ages - the connection took forever to get back up!

P.S. II - Have a Happy Australia Day! ^-^

*massive silence*

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't believe it - but... I'm getting a Graphic Tablet today! *happyhappyhappyhappyhappyhappy* I can hear a sort of "Wha?" sound going 'round - for those that don't know - Google Search it! Heheee. Naw, it's just something that's gonna help me heaps with my graphic art. Somethings about art need practise, others, tools. I'm finally starting to get together the stuff I need. It's heaps cool! 'Specially as Graphic Tablets are at least $1,000.00 or over, and as I found this one for a good deal less than that new, I'm extra-happyyyyy! *bounces 'round* Squee! <3 <--- (I know it's kinda demented, but that's supposed to be a sideways heart.) Byeee! TinkaBell ^^!

Hot and hotter

Hehee - bad 'gramma', I know, but it is realllyyyyy hot down under here in Canberra. Of course, even though we're in the city, bushfires are the ever looming concern - but right now everyone seems to be freaking out about something else - or somethingS. Namely sharks... Now I'm supposed to be going to the coast for a day trip this Sunday - but my family's totally bugging out over the report of 100 shark sightings along the South Coast these past three weekends. O.O' And they've been coming in to the third swell, which is like one meter deep! And I'm supposed to be swimming? So yeah!!!

I'm personally not too fussed - I know you've gotta be careful, but if you're not living on the edge, you're taking up to much space! Or maybe you'll spend your life wraped in cotton wool. No thankyou. But I guess we'll see. Although I'm still planning on swimming, I am glad there's gonna be 'copter patrols over Bateman's Bay this weekend. Makes you feel a little safer.

Asides from all that furrior(? spelling?) over sharks, I'm really phsyced (?) about heading to the coast - I've mentioned it before - but I'm dying for the beach and have been ever since the end of the Uni exams.... Gah! ><' --->

So, besides that, I don't think much else is happening. I, and another relatively new guy, were left in charge at work for like the first time, which was really awesome. Everything went really well, which was even more awesome(r)!!!! Bob needs a service, and I had to buy him a new battery, which means I can't go the WorldView conferance coming up on the 15th, but hey, you can't do everything, and there's always next year. So I'm off for now, gotta go do some chores as my sister is bellowing at me... = P'''

Adios amigos!

T.B._o

P.S. Thunderstorm coming up now - WOOOOTTTTTTTTT! I just love the thunder! Hope lighting strikes don't start a fire though...

Monday, January 9

Oyahhhh.

Wow... What a holiday!!!

'Course, it wan't much of a holiday after all that anyways. The good news is that my sister, Emi, and I are finally in our new room. It's still a bit messy, but when it's clean I'll put up some photos so you can see a little of what it's been like for the last week and a half!! 0.O!

I'm gonna have a little whinge - I HAVEN'T BEEN TO THE BEACH ONCE THIS SUMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! T_T Mind you, I went once when I was at BlackStump - but that was in the spring!!! So it doesn't count.... ^^'...
So I'm back at work, dealing with people who are still stuck in silly season mode. I must say, it's not always that fun. I went out for New Year's and that was cool - but not some random up-chucking all over my mate's carpet. So at 12:05pm - what was my mate doing? Cleaning up vomit. Niiiice..... NOT!

I don't get it - seriously... What's so fun about killing half of your brain cells, vomiting, making an @$$ of yourself, and feeling like SH*T the next day???? And what about the other people around you? In my expirance, getting drunk always affects someone else, and not in a good way. Like, at this wedding I was working at the other night, the groom's mates were completely off their faces, and acting like real retards. The poor bride just put up with them brawling and making @$$' out of themselves. If I was her I would've kicked them out! Mind you, I'm not against drinking, or having fun with your mates.... It's just the excesiveness. I don't get why people feel they need to go so far.
But hey - it's their life - their choices - guess they just wanna have fun.

Got lots of plans for the coast - roadtrips with the gfs, camps with Hugh's , and day trips(?) *fingers crossed!* But I guess we'll see - I've made plans before, and they've fallen through, so.... But anyway - these summer days have been really nice - the hot weather makes everyone a bit testy, but when it cools down, or we go for a swim, it's really nice. My art's on a bit of a halt, but I'll be getting back into it soon. I found a quote that's really encouraged me. "Your ability may not be much - but you're the only one in the world that can use it." So true. I've really woken up to reality lately - it almost stole my dreams away, but now I realize, even though you need reality to live, hopes and dreams are the things that make living worthwhile. Funny how things turn out. I really can't wait (heh - and I won't have to considering how quickly time flys!!!) to see what 2006 has in store - I'm sure it's gonna be one heck of a ride!

Looking to the future,

Bonita. (TinkaBell_o)

And so it begins - @_o!

*Incoming Trasmission*

*Author's Note* This diary of a young soldier was found recently in an old tumble-down attic, covered in dust and blood... It was a dark and stormy night when the gory details were revealed, and since then things have never been the same.... (Just kidding! We're renovating our house, and my sister and I are moving out into our garage, so our room is going to be totally awesome by the time we've finished. [and twice the size!] So this a brief account of the mess in my house atm.)

TOP SECERT - DO NOT READ UNLESS AUTHORIZED

day 1 _________ tuesday _ 27/12/2005

It's been a long time coming. We've been preparing for this day for six months now. We have gone through Plan A to Z and a couple of numerals too. Things have been winding up tenser and tenser, and then it happened. General Sj made the suggestion. So it was up to myself, Captain Tinka, and Luetenant CoolChic, to get the stuff we needed. At 01000 hours we marched to Revolve, and under the General's watchful eye, we brought two top secret wardrobes and a set of weapon bunk beds. This was just the beginning.

day 2 ________ wednesday _ 28/12/2005

Up at the crack of dawn - 0700 hours, it was time to let General Sj, Major Mumbly, Corpral Freaky, and Private Jayz in on the battle plan Lt CoolChic and I had concocted in the wee small hours of the night. As we had expected the was some outcry, but we were able to persude them to see reason. After the offical meeting and red tape (the General's permission) we had to sort out, the Lt and I got stuck into it. It was time to move. Everything in our headquarters got spread out all through the base, and tucked in to any corner we could find. The problems started when we realized we need materials from other areas, so more stuff (junk) had to be shifted. With all the shifting about we only ended up preping one of the top secret wardrobes, and part of the high level chest.

day 3 _________ thursday _ 29/12/2005

Time for the search to begin. Assembling the battalion in the troop 'copter, we charged out to find our super special carpet. No luck in the first base we flew into, so we raided another, and struck the mother load. Still short on supplies though, so we headed out again, but this time with a special strike team of the General, Lt and myself. We got in there and out again safely, with no incidents.

day 4 _________ friday _ 30/12/2005

It was now time for the dirty work to begin. Preping, and painting the high security gear we'd picked up took time, energy and and effort that the Lt and I almost didn't have. The heat was incrediable, and it took all our strength to keep on going. Under Mozzie-dart attacks, that swamped us from time to time, we manage to make it through with no casualties, and little damage. For now.

day 5 ________ saturday _ 31/12/2005

Waking up early, it was time to get on with the serious stuff. The painting done on a third of the gear, we have two T.S wardrobes done, and the H.L. chest finished. The two sets of W.B. beds are still to be done, plus two rocket Bookselves, a under-cover desk and two mini-mine dressing tables. Looking at what we've achieved so far, we still have a long trek ahead of us. The base is in absolute shambles - there is no way we'd be able to do our work in any sort of order, as half of the contents of the base are strewn through out the place. Dust, shrapnel, and vital equiment are mixed together in the growning mounds of gear. And we're not even half way through....

*Author's Note* The rest of the diary is lost. The search has begun for the missing parts - in due time they will be unearthed, so stay tuned.

I'm BACK YA'LL~

Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells rock an' alll that JAAAAAZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*sings loudly*

Hey everyone, hope you had a good Christmas - I know I did even though I worked all day. Busy entertaining peoples, reading books, watching my new Zoids: Chaotic Century DVDs - oya, I luff Zoids!!! ^-^ !

Things seemed to be all wacked at the mo' though - I'm busy sorting through stuff...

Heya, on to better things - the days are hot an' gorgeous, and my sister's pushing me to help with her writing - i.e. co-author with her. I thought I was past that, but I do want to help her. I just don't think that I can! I almost didn't pass my Creative Writing course. How can I call myself an author? I just don't have what it takes.

*sigh* so much for better things!!! I seriously go round in circles sometimes - and I don't mean the Kylie-Minouge-type of spinning either.

Meh - 'neways, I'm trying to deciede what movie to go see tonight (on cheap@$$ Tuesday) Mask of Zorro or Chronicles of Narnia? Hmmm.... Both are good and I shall see both, but what one tonight?
>.......< ???? *so she puzzled til her puzzler was sore* <--- Direct quote from The Grinch ^^ Good movie!

Gtg now, I'll c u l8r,

Boni.

*oophew* It's sssooo hot!!! *melts* BUYYYYEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wednesday, December 21

IT'S BEGINNING TO LOOK LIKE>>>>

CHRISTMAS!!!!

Whoo!!! I can hardly believe that another year has passed, and so much has happened over the last year... I started Uni, such a big thing for myself who had been homeschooled all my life, got a new job, that moved me up in service and learning about stuff, I've realized that I am not, and never will be a writer, but maybe if I practise real hard I can be an artist, I've learned how hard life is without Christ as your center and rock - I've been witness to the pain that troubles you through
life if you don't have Him as Lord and Saviour, I've found out what it's like to be wanted, and to want in return, I know how much you depend on a friendly face, and what it means to you when you find it, when you find a friend... Life is so perfect sometimes, and sometimes it just hurts...

Each moment
passes, and it's not the amount of moments in which you breathe that matter, but the moments that make you lose your breath... I've been lucky to have some of those moments this year - Road trips with my gfs, Sleeping out under the stars on the beach, Learning new things that make me stop and wonder at the awesomeness of this world, Enjoying staying up late with friends just 'coz you can, Finding a little more of the wonder of In to me see, Golden summer days - Stormy dark nights, Music that touches your soul,
Hearing God speaking to you, Realizing that you've come so far, but more of the wonder of your journey still lies before you... Rejoice!!! Rejoice and be glad, for a Saviour is born and THAT is something to make you lose your breath.

Christmas is a time for celebration,
and reflection - may everyone see the wonder of their life behind them, and before them, May you all (to be politically correct) have a wonderful Holiday!

^-^, Best wishes always,

Bonita. (TinkaBell)

P.S. - And a Happy New Year in case I don't get on before the turn of the year!! ^ ^!

Exterary 'pecially

Did anyone notice the archive with December 1990 marked on it? I went in there today, and found three posts of "Luvin U" in it!!! What's really odd is that I only started my Blog in March 2005, so I guess Blogger.com must've had some sort of glitch. Not that I mind or anything - it's quite amusing! ^-^! *thinks* And that would explain why, when posting "Luvin U", I had to post it repeatedly, as it said that I had posted successfully, but the post wasn't on my Blog. At least, it wasn't on the December 2005 page!

Update in the life of Tinka:

I've been really sick over the last few days - I had to spend Friday in bed, and cancel my work shifts... So I'm still getting over this nasty 'flu virus, and I'm broke too! ;_; .... Really not cool, but hey that's life I guess.

ummm... ain't dot nofink else to say....

*sings* Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming.....

First I call Dad up at 10:30 pm when I couldn't start Bob (my new car) and get him out of bed to my work to pick me up, only to find I had Bob in the wrong gear. And yep, sure 'nuff he started perfectly when I put him in park... *blushes* Stupid. I know. But hey - I topped that today!

I locked Bob's keys in his boot!! @_@' And yep, all the doors had been neatly locked by myself just a moment ago.... >.> Dad had to break in (and he scratched up my tinting... = P) so's I could get my only key back....
*groans* Oyishka.... I really have been pulling it off this month. At least the above haven't been too bad - just dumb. Hey - I haven't totally humiliated myself in front of any hotties - but don't worry - that is ssssuuuure to come!!!

Amigo, Step, and me with our finished work - Boris! Posted by Picasa

Boris, in all his rockclimbing glory... ^ ^! Posted by Picasa

Monday, December 5

Luvin u

Just kidding!! ^-^!!! No, I really do luv u guys.... And the holidays!! I am just having the best break from Uni right now.

Hanging out w/ Step an' Amigo* (*name change - dunno if he wants to be on my Blog!!) has been fun, I've been indoor rockclimbing w/ the Crew, partying w/ the Hugh's crowd, buying a NEW CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (more in a mo.) - working, doing a bit of art, getting hooked on boardgames, meeting heaps of new ppl - and new guys to talk too! *winkx* ; ) - heheee, it's been all good.

Ok - new car. I got it on Saturday, it's a little Ford Laser, and I call him Bob. He's in excelllent condition for a 23 year old framework, and a 4 year old motor. And I love him to bits already! He's white, and I can't wait to deck out his interior. He's got mag wheels ( ^-^! ), and I got roof racks as well - can't wait for the first road trip!! It's gonna be sweet dude - totallyyy SweeeeT!!! I'll have ta put up photos. WOOT! I finally got my first car!!! ( And I only paid $900.00 dollars for him too - SUCH a bargin!! )

Step, Amigo, and I painted Amigo's new rockclimbing wall (sorry, boldering [? spelling?] wall) today - it was sooo much fun! It took us from 10:30 ish 'til 4:00pm, with a few breaks and trips for paint and stuff we forgot, but it was SOOOOO worth it. I'lll be putting up pictures in my album Etches, as I designed the image that Step and I decided to call Borris, who is the focal point of the design, and he is this really cute geko! After that we played Monopoly Party on the PlayStation and I THRASHED everyone @$$' - only by fuke mind you - but it was fun - I sent everyone bankrupt!!! X D !!!! (meh - I'm not a n00b, it's just that I hardly ever really win boardgames, so I was happy with the change....)

*big happy sigh* = ) So luvin life right now - it's ABSO_BALLY_LUTE_LY FAN_TAS_TEEEEC!!!!!!!! I am so happy! Thankyou Lord for all you've given me.... ^-^!

*happyhappyhappyhappyhappyhappyhappyhappyhappyhappyhappy*

more

More pictures up in my album - Tinkas etches, on photobucket.com - check 'em out if you want - I'm also designing an artwork to transfer on to one of my friend's (he's in the Crew) new rockclimbing wall that he's getting as an early Christmas pressie. Whee! Then we're (the Crew) are gonna paint it on on Monday. Lotsa fun! ^^!

Actually, it's only the second peice of artwork that I've really ever done for someone else - (besides a few small things - like cards an' birthday pictures). I was going to do my first commissioned peice onto a guitar for a friend, but he cancelled ( = P ) - and the other piece was given as a 2oth birthday present. But then again, I'm not doing this by myself, only designing it - so can it really count as my own work?? Meh - ......

'neways, have a good one ya'll -

TinkaBell_o

P.S. - O yeah!!! I forgot to mention - I passed my exams - got two P's and a CR, so I'm pretty happy with that. Especially as my credit came from Communication Traditions, and I totally didn't get that subject at all all semester, though it seems I've manged to do something right in that class! O.O Yay!!! No more worries for the rest of the year! ^-^!!!!

Monday, November 28

*yawns*

Sooo tired!!!

I've been working really hard, an' I went out last night with a bunch of peeps from Hugh's - which was really, really, really cool! I had lotsa fun. But I am tired...

Just a question, does everyone one have a theory about the scared, scarred one? 'Coz if they do -I'd like to know it. Funny how you go through life, and things come and go - you don't even realize what's been until you look back and see the route you took. If I don't have a map for love how do I deal? I gotta guide book that helps me through life, but it doesn't tell where to wait for him... Grrrr. And right now I don't even want to be thinking about boys in any shape, sort, or form - .... Pfft. Stupid, flithy, fat creatures...

Go away and never come back!

*runs and hides in her room*

Crusing

Life's pretty good right now - I'm enjoying the break immensely, and even though I'm working so much on the weekends I don't get to go out at all - ) ': - I'm still having a relaxing time. Am still getting over this virus thing too - though I'm starting to wonder if some of the symtoms weren't/aren't hay fever as well... Does hayfever make your glands swell? hmm. ..

Started looking at going to a new church. It's just gotten so that the life of our (my family's) church is dried out and gone. It's sad, and really hard, but we know we have to move, so we're on the look out for another place to fellowship. Currently, Hugh's Basptist is looking promising. ^^

Got a new pair of shoes today! They're black wedges with the cutest little sparkling flower where the straps meet. Nice price too - I just love a great bargin!

One thing that's got me a bit bummed is that I can't go to the beach at all 'coz I don't have anyway of getting there, and that even if I did, me and my bestie are at odds right now... Whaaaa!! We haven't had a huge fight or anything, but she's holding something back from me - doesn't wanna talk about something, and our relationship isn't as open as it has been for the last four or five years... It's so sad, and I'm really praying that everything will get sorted, 'coz it's just not cool.... Not at all.

Besides, all that, life's good. ^^

I'll check ya round,

B.

Monday, November 14

Here we goooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally!!!!!!!!! It's my first week of holidays. Even though I finished my last exam on Wednesday last week, I've been sick and it's taken this long to sink in.... I'm freeeee!!!!!!!!! WOOT!!!

Mind you I still feel really ill - but hey, at least I may have a chance of recovery as I don't have much to do until I get an extra job for the hols. I really need the cash. So it's gonna be work, work, work for this little chick-a-bee. That is, in between working on my Oekaki-ing and drawing. Meh. 'Neways, I've been sitting far to long at this computer - I can feel my eyes going square -

Adios amigo - Via le liberati!!! (My mangled French... o.o' )

Tinka.

P.s. - This is why my eyes r square!! *puts picture up on Photobucket* Check it out if you want - TinkaBell_o, then go to Tinkas Scribbles - it's the one titled 'Prince Trae'

Thursday, November 10

>.>....

I'm still feeling really sick - but hey, at least my exams are all over... I got through my law exam ok - I hope. I'm pretty confident I'll pass at least. Now I just gotta get better - 'coz I'm not feeling well at all....

Yours with a dizzy head -

Bj.

Tuesday, November 8

I've been off again-

I've been off procrastinating and somehow I have to deal with my law exam that's tomorrow at 9:00 am sharp. I feel really ill - I just don't want to do it... X / Ick. Sleep. I need to sleep. Then maybe I can get my stuff in order...

Saturday, November 5

Questions?

Sometimes things go all weird - you know, like when someone (yes - it's a guy... = P) treats you a certain way for such a while - then you start to expect it... And well, even if you're okay with how things go, you still get disappointed or whatever... Doesn't it suck? I always find it leaves me with questions - as in why? Was it something I did/said/didn't do/say??? What happened or I am reading to much/have read to much into his actions? *sigh* Life is so confusing. I really do get sick of it sometimes. All the hurting and confusing - everything spins into meltdown....

Pfft! Chucking my concerns aside, I'll live life and get over it!

Adios amigos,

Boni.

P.s. - Funny how I never really think about what I'm really thinking until I sit down and write. It seems that everything in my subconcious comes out - I wonder if I need to overload my poor Blog all the time with all the D&M stuff???!!!

P.s. II - Ohwell - it's gotta go somewere I guess! ^-^!

Friday, November 4

Whooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am sssooooo syced! ^-^!!! I just finished my Communication Traditions Exam, and I think it went pretty well - so I'm fairly confident that I'll pass and WheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That means I don't have to think about it any more!!! Sweet Dude - totally sweeeet... = ) I'm gonna turn off my poor, overloaded, over abused brain and just relax. No work tonight - study or otherwise. YES!

Just a quick bitch about exams though - how much do they bite!!??! You have to cram so much useless info into your head just for two lousy hours, and then while you're taking the exam you find that:

A. You didn't stuff enough stuff into your head
B. You stuffed the WORNG stuff in
OR
C. You get a mental blank, plus a hand cramp and can't write no more anyways!!!

>= P''' ... It's enough to drive me sane.... And that takes a LOT of doing!!!!

Anyway, 'nuff of dat -- I'm freeeeeeee!!!!! Until tomorrow when I have to start studying for my three hour Laws of Commmuncation exam worth 70% (O.o') that I have on Wednesday... Fun. Fun. Fun. (so sacastic - just in case u couldn't tell! >.> )

Meh. I'm over it. Check ya l8r,

T.

Introducing Boni Posted by Picasa

Putting it off -

Yeah, I'm absolutely stupid for procrastinating studying for my exam this Friday, but I am. Still! Hey - at least I know what I want to do for one of the questions. Now I just have to work on the other two....

Brought a B'day pressie for my friend - hope he likes it! I mean, how hard is it to buy presents for guys???!!!! With girls - it's sssssooooo easy! Just a bit of jewelery(spelling ?), body stuff, makeup or a chick flick. Easy! Guys - pffft! I suppose you could always personally deliver them a six-pack or something, but geez - =P - I really don't think that's a good pressie to turn up with all the time... Hmmm - though if he doesn't like the shirt I brought him, I think I will just trade it in for some beer!

"Adorno and Horkheimer argue that '[t]he sociological theory that the loss of the support of objectively established religion, the dissolution of the last remnants of precapitalism, together with technological and social diffferentiation or specialisation, have led to cultural chaos is disproved every day; for culture now impresses the same stamp on everything'. How did they support this arguement? Do you agree? Explain.

Question 7, from my Communication Traditions Exams. Fun huh? Now you might be able to see why I'm procrastinating!!! -.-' But now I reeaallly must get on - so,

Ciao,

Meep

I can't believe it's another month again - and *gulp* that it's only two months away until the end of the year!!! It's crazy how life goes soooo quickly! I have my own theory as to why that is - but I think it really makes sense.

It's just that while you are young your world is so small, and there is only so much stuff you have to do, or want to do. You have all the time in the world to do it, so time goes so slowly. The older you get, the bigger your world gets and the less time you have for everything you have to do - let alone want to do. Guess that's why time slips away so quickly. Sometimes I just want to have a small world again, but where's the fun in that?.....

I think you've gotta make time for the important things - not just the things you have to do. I know this isn't a new theory - lots of people talk about finding their "inner child" and yadayada, but it does have some truth to it. A child is amazed by the world it sees, the places it goes and the people it meets - it doesn't take the beauty around it for granted and never says "No" to something different because it's scared. Life is infinitely precious - don't let it slip by on the wings of time.

But enough of that - it's time to go.

Bye for now! T. ^ ^!

almost free...

Almost there! Not just with Uni though - maybe, sort of, I think that I might be getting there in other ways too...

But firstly - this Friday is my first exam - then the following Wednesday is my last exam - it's almost all over, I'm almost free from wretched Uni! YAY!!! ^^!

But as to the other stuff - I think I've got a long ways to go - maybe... I'm free to be my own person - a servant of God, yet even as I know that, it seems like I'm trapped somehow. I'm not sure if it's because I'm still living at home and it seems like the whole house is keeping me down - maybe I'm ready to go. Maybe I'm ready - but why am I still so scared? What if the only thing that's stopping me from flying is myself? *sigh* I don't know, but if I find the answer I'll be sure to tell you.

Currently questioning,

Boni.

Procrastinating... -.-'

Yup. I am procrastinating - I'm supposed to be studying for my Communications Traditions exam that's on the fourth (Friday) of October. Two weeks to study, more or less, but I do have to study for my Law of Communications exam which is on the following Wednesday. Right now, I can't be bothered!! I'd much prefer to tell you about all the stuff that I haven't had a chance to write about. Well - not publicly, but you can bet your fuzzy pink toe-socks (Squuueeee! I jist lUff Fuzzy Pink ToeSockS! ^^!) that my Journal's heard all about it!!!

Like - My darling sister and I climbed up Mt. Taylor last Sunday (the 23rd) and blew bubbles up on the very tip-top of the world! At least, it was the tip-top in a direct vertical line down from our feet - but we'll ignore that fact!!! Heh - it just ruins all the fun....

And I went running around in the thunder storm yesterday evening - went and climbed a cliff and watched lighting play over the darkened skies of the city. Now that was cool. I doubt many people really know how obsessed I really am with thunderstorms. There's just something about them that speaks to me, and I just get so restless until I'm out in the wind and rain...

But enough of my random weirdness - well - not quite, 'coz I still don't want to study! >.>' So if I ramble please excuse me because I don't wanna stop, but I'm not sure I have much else to say - which in all actual truth that statement is not quite the truth because there is a lot I want to say, but maybe not now, maybe just because I don't even know what it is I want to say or will be saying, but in all retrospect - truth is so irrelevant anyway!

Meep! -.-' I think that line of thought had better stop there as there is no way I can follow it - though truthfully, I proably can.... And I'm just wondering whether or not any of you - whoever you are - can either? Which reminds me -

"I am who I think you think I am." Great isn't it? That was Cooly's Looking Glass Self. Which leaves me with a sore brain - not that I don't understand what he's trying to say - no, it's more this:

Well, if I am who I think you think I am - where does my whole "Running from the image that I think you think I am thing" come in? As in, if I really am who I think you think I am - that really doesn't work for me - as in, I think that I am the opposite of what I think that you think I am - at least I try to be the opposite!!! Meh - maybe I'm not. But if I think that you think that I am boring - does that really make me boring as I think that I am not boring, or at least try not to be boring and that it has nothing to do with what you think I am therefore???

O.o ...
Now you know why I have a sore brain! Not really - but hey - itsn't all fun?? ^^

Lol - please comment if you wish - I think it'd be great to hear what you think I am and whether or not I really am whom I think you think I am!

Watching and waiting....

Got my presentation over and done with (Thank goodness) and I got a credit plus on my essay which I had been totally stressing over!!! Would have got a distiction if I could speak "literary-ese", but I'm happy with what I got as it is - as in more like absolutely stoked! ^ ^

Just a quick note - I'm twenty in three days and that is sooooo incredably scary!!!! But hey, just another beat of my butterfly wings life... I'll live on, love on and DEFINATELY rock on!!!

Off to practise my layouts -

Honey - I'm home!

Well, not really - but I'm back from Stump and I am still struggling with the whole getting "back to reality" (reality bites....) thing. But 'neways, I gotta get into my Uni work as there are only five weeks (ahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!) until my exams is over, and I'm free for the rest of the year!!! BUT before I start cheering, I really gotta survive my exams first... >.>' *sigh* Oiy.

Besides that I'm having fun hanging with my friends and Crew so's it's all good. Distracting, but good.
