Guest Post ~ Lottie Loves

Hi everyone!

I am over at Lottie Loves today with a guest post about tea!   Please check it out because Lottie is one of my favourite vintage bloggers, and she is super sweet and nice.   Plus, this is my first ever guest post.  > 0 <   I have my fingers crossed that her readers will like it!  Hopefully I can entice you further with a snippet from my post….

All About ~ The Perfect Pot of Tea

teapot-with-pink-coral-floralToday I have the honour of writing a guest post for Lottie Loves!   I adore Lottie’s posts on vintage etiquette and her darling thrift finds, so I thought for all the vintage lovers that follow her blog I could write about another aspect of vintage {and modern} life ~ tea.

Ahhh…..   Tea.  What a glorious beverage indeed!  Whether it be morning, noon or night, you really cannot go wrong with a steaming pot of tea. teacup-with-pink-coral-floral

I find that even in the swelter of an Australian summer, a good cup of tea really hits the spot.  But what constitutes a good pot of tea and how do you tell when you drink it if it is good?

Ok, yes. Yes yes YES! This post really resonates with me (if you couldn't tell!) as I spend the majority of my year in the US even though I'm British, and frankly, I miss the tea! Americans just are not as good at making tea as the British, I'm afraid. Much better at coffee and pastries though. :)

I am a big tea drinker so I love this. I never used to drink tea until I went to Uni, tea suddenly became an instant fix on cold mornings/evenings and the habit has stuck! It's definitely a comfort drink for me.

  3. I found tea was much better in Scotland than in Australia, probably because
of the same reasons that the British are better than the Americans at making
tea ~ they have been at it for longer!
Australians are not that great at making tea ~ when I go out and order tea
I always order a herbal so they cannot burn it! Tea is just awesome and I
am glad you liked my post. : D

  4. Tea is totally my comfort drink too! I cannot even remember when I started
drinking it, but it does not matter how bad I am feeling ~ tea always makes
me feel a better; even just by a little bit. ^ w ^
