Unexpected

Funny how things are just so... unexpected! I mean really, I didn't expect Stump to be only two weekends away (including this one - kiya!) o>o , I didn't expect to be broke in two weeks time (thanks to some shifts laying off - all at once too...) and I certainly didn't expect to miss Scotland as much as I am!

Of course, that's a wee bit by the by, work and life'n'stuff appear to be rolling along well enough. Still stressed out - can't really work out why, but that's okay 'coz it just is. Take one day at a time and you can't go wrong!


So yeh, Scotland. Land of the wet fog, wet rain, wet mud, wet wind and Irn Bru. *sigh* Home sweet home! It's weird and totally unexpected but I guess it's true - you can fall in love with a country. The problem is - it's not going to be the same the second time around. I find that really hard to think about, but it is what it is. Life moves on, and just 'coz I'd like to think that a wee corner of the world has been frozen in time, just for me.... Well that's unlikely - and I certainly wouldn't expect that!!

Dunno what it is. I'm still so confused as to why life seems to suck back in Australia. I'm sure it wasn't this bad before I left! Or was it that I didn't know any better?

Scary thought. Who wants to be a prisoner of their own life? Put your hand up! *is facetious*

On a better, brighter note - horse riding has few charms to the general world, but I am very glad I have a gorgeous horse waiting for me. Copper really does cure all that ails me, and a bit more. Somehow things are better viewed 63 inches from the ground (or 15.3 hh in horse-talk) from the back of a loyal friend.

Speaking of loyal friends, I am pleased to note that things are looking up on the friend front, it's taking time (like I said it would) but I really do think things are working out. Thankfully!

But take me back to the top o' the wourld where the grass is green and the tree are greener. Where everyone loves to dance and the skies are brighter longer (in the summer anyway), and everyone knows that you can travel 30ml over the speed limit and it don't matter!!
