So in case anyone is confused ~ yes, the baby did come. She’s currently snuggled up and asleep in her bassinet. These photos are from before, but I thought I’d put them up anyway as they are still good, vintage styled, maternity fashion shots ~ right?
I don’t know about any of you, but I find dressing a baby bump is pretty challenging. I managed to find some cute vintage items to wear this time around ~ I felt like I was much more true to my style this time around than when I was pregnant with Theodore. So the more outfit inspiration ~ the better I think!
Nonetheless, I am glad, glad, glad{!} that I can start wearing all my pretty dresses again! I even have some new ones that I can’t wait to show you. ヽ(*⌒∇⌒*)ノ

First of all, congratz on the new bebe! So exciting. Second of all, kudos to looking so glamorous throughout your pregnancy. I don't know how you did it- all I wanted to do is lay on my couch and try not to hurl for 9 months. Glad both you and the bebe are healthy and happy!
ReplyDeleteThanks doll,

I love this outfit! It reminds me a lot of 1950s maternity wear-a large roomy blouse with a cute pair of capris.
ReplyDeleteYou look so very lovely! Denim plus classic plaid is a timeless winner in my books anytime. I'm really happy for your that you got to wear more vintage looks through this pregnancy. Can't wait to hear more about your new dresses!

Thanks; and the best thing is that it is a really easy look to do! A total win in my books. :D
ReplyDeleteThank you! :DD I did have three or so months of lying on the couch trying not to hurl, so I totally know where you are coming from. Thankfully, I do get a bit of a reprieve after the first trimester even though I still felt nauseous a lot during the rest of the pregnancy.
ReplyDeleteI feel sorry for the mamas who don't even get that break! I knew one mom who was sick everyday, all day right until the baby was born. Yuck!
Oh thank you Jessica! I sure can't wait to share them with you either ~ I love getting new clothes in the mail! ; )
