We are moving hotels this Saturday ~ from City Stay to Riverview {Last move until we go home! Yay!! Two weeks and one day until we fly home! Double yay!!!!}; so this was my ‘goodbye’ shoot in Howard Boas’ Gardens. This tree is definitely one of my favourite elements of the landscape ~ it has such solid character and twists in the branches.
Yes, I know this skirt has figured in my last outfit post, but this is my version of a remix! I went for a sort of sweet romantic look. I wish my hair was longer because I think that long tousled locks really finish off that sort of style, but unfortunately my hair positively refuses to grow past my shoulder blades. That means that when it dries, it ends up around the tops of my shoulders. Curls can be such a pain!
Accessories ~ Earrings {Equip} Bracelet {Equip}
Toe Rings {#1 Sydney Markets, #2 Florence, Italy, #3 Pisa, Italy}
Under Skirt ~ Cannot remember, it’s too old Top Skirt ~ Thrifted Top ~ Tempt

That is a good tree.
ReplyDeletePretty shoot!
Thanks Judy. ^ u ^
ReplyDeleteYep, it is a totally awesome tree! And thanks Claire. : D
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous set of photos. My favourite would have to be the very first one - something about the combination of the pose, the tree and the dappled light.
ReplyDeleteI hope your new hotel is a pleasant place in which to spend your remaining two weeks or so. :)
Thanks Katie ~ I am having a lot of fun setting up these photo shoots; it's
ReplyDeletea real collaboration between Husband and myself.
The Riverview is better quality hotel, but I am not liking the decor! All
the walls are black and it's really quite depressing. Not a nice place to
stay; I am *very* glad I will be home in two weeks!!
such a pretty outfit, you look like a wood nymph!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet outfit and such a gorgeous background! I think your curly hair is gorgeous! :D
ReplyDeleteThanks Jamie-Lee, that's what I was trying to portray and I am really glad

I love the overall long look, its so pretty and floaty. Like something from a Midsummers Night Dream.
ReplyDeleteI never thought about it like that, but it totally does. I should have put
ReplyDeletesome glitter on my face. > u <
