Ho-hum.

Sunshine and lollipops... dumda-de-dah-de-ddah....

Spent the last week or two dealing with craziness and more craziness. I tell you what, traveling might be fun - but seriously, before you go anywhere for an extended amount of time, take into consideration whether or not you are prepared to deal with change when you come back.

To be honest, I'd already thought of that before my sister and I had headed overseas, but we both never dreamed that our world wouldn't just change, but shatter into a million irreparable pieces.

It's so hard to take in, and really, all you want to do is run away from it all. Far, far, far away....
But one step at a time, take just one step at a time and things will get better. They have to 'coz I can't live like this much longer!

On to a much nicer topic - I had my first hip-hop dance class this week and was so pleased when I managed to do it alright. I mean, it's easy enough to dance to your own beat, and even to do it well enough to look good - but dancing to someone elses choreography - that's when things get tricky!

One thing I didn't do so well on - turns. I really need to practise my turns. But other then that; I was doing non-beginner routine work in my first class. *whheeee* *is happy* I just love to dance.

Spent my public holiday chillaxing with friends - had some time at Pine Island in the sun. Mmmm, yummy sunshine. It was a bit of a shock when we got there though, the place was crawling with teen-i-boppers. Droves of boys trying to be cool by swearing their heads off and swimming in the icy-cold water and flocks of girls giggling and whispering on the sand.

Rather reminded me of swarms of ants at a picnic actually... Hard to believe that so many of the pre-teen crowd could fit in the same place, but once you went away from the 'main' beach it got better. Suppose they where as happy to see us 'older' crowd scuttle off as we where happy to do the scuttling!

So it was sunshine, than after my class I met up with my friends again - we went and saw "Death Race". That movie is seriously cool! Ok, I will admit that it was far too gory and violent in some places for my tastes (if it had've been at an M level, I would have liked it better, but that's just me personally) - but the rest was awesome!

Okay - fast cars, and even better, guns!! There were some decent plot twists, not all that surprising, but enough to keep you interested, and they didn't play on graphics to much. Really I thought it was put together well if you like the violent/car/thrashing sort of movie.... Come to think of it, it really is a total guys movie. You end up coming out going "Now I want to drive my car home.... FAST". Sweet dude! *mwhhaaahhhaa* I can just picture BoB with a mounted machine gun... My car would look soooo cool.

Anyways, that's it for now. B. out.
