*whimpers* I went and did it again.... "-and the award for biggest chump of 2006 goes to.... Me!!!" I've only just started to get over my severly sprained left ankle when I had to - yep, you've proably guess it - go twist my right ankle! WHAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ='''(
I was climbing up a hill/mountain? in the bush - me and one of the Hobbits (we'll call him Pippin) were going up to Booromba(?) Rocks and having a grand ol' sweaty time when I had to step on a rock that wasn't a rock (ie - the grass made it look like a rock was underneath, but it wasn't and..) - vol`a! I have a really sore ankle, am stuck at home, can't go out with the Hobbits any more, and can't work either, so I'm dead broke, bored(well, 'cept for the computer....), and *sigh* that's the way the cookie crumbles. Mind you, my ankle wouldn't have been as bad as it is if I had of been smart and asked to head back when I twisted it. As it was, I had to trek 7 kilometers on it - it didn't start hurting until we'd already reached the top of the hill/mountain.
Tell you what, getting back - now that was a challenge.... I had to dig my nails into the palm of my hands so that I could stand the pain in my ankle. The only way I got down was with more pain, walking really fast, and ignoring the achiness. That's the problem about stubborn, independant types- can't sook or whinge about any thing.... >.>....
Hmmm - besides my eventful day, I can't think of much else - o, went to the Australia Day Eve Concert on the lawn of Paraliment - got to see(? too many people to actually see them)/hear the Rogue Traders and The Modern Day Poets, and some others, but I enjoyed the company (The Hobbits + one) more than the bands - tho the latter bands were HEAPS good - loved dancing to the music!
'Neways, that is it from me for now...
